About the Role As a Senior Art Director for one of the largest automotive companies in the world, you'll work hands-on with copywriters, account managers, creative directors, and strategists to create compelling materials. You're a fast and flexible go-getter who thrives on new opportunities and collaboration. You maintain exceptionally high standards in design and art direction, creating impactful results through your hands-on work. You excel at crafting visually engaging, strategically-informed, and pixel-perfect designs across the account. You bring a progressive creative instinct and positivity, working effectively in teams with a low-ego approach.

Key Responsibilities

Adaptation of creative from English to Spanish across various deliverables—from social content and web copy to display advertising and e-commerce

Create major deliverables that uphold the highest standards of creative excellence and align with client objectives

Take a hands-on approach in design execution, working directly on projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams

Execute the conceptual and aesthetic direction of campaigns, asset creation, experiential activations, and design projects

Excel in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment while maintaining quality and professionalism

Create engaging content across multiple formats, including videos, static posts, and animations

Contribute positively to Monks' culture, its people, and its clients

Qualifications:

5+ years of hands-on design and art direction experience in advertising and marketing

Expert proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and collaboration tools

Experience in automotive and/or production industries preferred

Strong ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Collaborate effectively with creative leads and copywriters to develop on-brand designs

Clear communication skills when presenting work to senior leaders and clients

Creative and analytical thinking capabilities

Experience implementing brand style guides

Contribute to creative discussions throughout the project lifecycle

Strong digital-centric portfolio across multiple formats required

AI tool experience is recommended (i.e. ChatGPT, MidJourney, Runway)

Fluent in Spanish and English

This role is subject to our Return to Office (RTO) policy. If you reside within a commutable distance of one of our office locations, you will be expected to work from the office a set number of days per week. Salary Range: $70,000—$80,000 USD
