Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our growing home healthcare and hospice organization as a Director of Strategic Initiatives. This high-impact role is responsible for integrating and expanding strategic partnerships and alliances that drive growth, enhance service delivery, and support our mission to provide exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate brings a blend of partnership experience, healthcare acumen, and operational integration experience. This position is a remote or hybrid role that may require travel about 25‑35% of the time.
Key Responsibilities Partnership Integration & Management
Design and lead integration plans for new initiatives and partnerships, ensuring operational alignment and value capture.
Collaborate with internal teams (operations, clinical, legal, finance) to ensure smooth execution and compliance.
Establish and manage key performance indicators to monitor the success of initiatives and partnerships and recommend adjustments as needed.
Manage operational and clinical teams as appropriate.
Stakeholder Engagement
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with external partners, industry stakeholders, and key decision-makers.
Serve as the primary liaison for ongoing strategic relationships.
Manage stakeholders across different motivations to accomplish end goal.
Establish processes and clinical workflows that support meeting KPIs.
Manage on-the-ground partnerships to enable expansion of pilots to broader rollout.
Hire teams as appropriate to support.
Qualifications Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field required.
MBA or other advanced business degree preferred.
Experience
5+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, initiatives, corporate development, or business strategy.
Management consulting experience (e.g., with a top‑tier firm) preferred.
Experience in healthcare services, home health, or hospice is a significant advantage.
Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and financial modeling skills.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
High degree of professionalism, integrity, and ability to handle confidential information.
Ability to take initiative and take action.
Proven ability to execute toward KPIs.
