Camp Dates:
6/15/2026 (Mon) – 8/7/2026 (Fri) – (plus one weekend for setup, one weekend for breakdown, and an orientation date)
Camp Hours:
8:00 am – 6:00 pm (actual shifts may vary)
Hourly Wage:
$23.00–$25.50 per hour (actual offer will depend on experience and other factors)
About the Role:
You will help run all facets of a self‑directed camp. Working with a Director, you will build relationships with parents and children, lead and inspire a team, and oversee day‑to‑day operations to keep things running smoothly and safely. This is a training ground and pipeline for future directors.
Ideal Candidate:

Job Responsibilities:
Facilitate activities, make connections, and monitor safety and wellness.
Oversee activity spaces where campers self‑select activities, or work in rotating support roles.
Activities may include sewing, stop‑motion animation, maker space, performing arts, arts and crafts, lounging, recreation, and more.
Additional Responsibilities:
Actively supervise campers.
Maintain an organized and approachable activity space.
Ensure compliance with Camp Policies.
Report and record details of incidents or injuries.
Track camper allergies and dietary restrictions.
Add daily updates and photos to campers’ profiles.
Job Requirements:
At least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
2 months of experience in camp, or 1 year in education or childcare.
Consent to email or text communication from Steve & Kate’s.
May be asked to chaperone off‑site field trips.
Additional Requirements:
Past management or leadership experience preferred.
Camp management can be physically demanding; will involve extended periods standing, outdoor activities, and physical exertion.
Preferred: meets local Camp Director qualifications or is a former Steve & Kate’s Camp employee.
Physical Requirements:
Follow all safety and health rules.
Organize and maintain clean activity spaces.
Assist in camp set‑up and breakdown.
Stand for long periods while supervising.
Participate in athletic games.
Benefits:
