Association Manager (m/f/d) , you actively help shape the regulatory framework of the energy transition. You represent the Vaillant Group where laws, directives and standards are created, ensuring that technological innovation, sustainability and economic success come together.

(m/f/d), you maintain an overview of all laws relevant to your area of expertise
In your role as
Senior Expert / Association Manager
(m/f/d), you effectively represent the strategic and technical positions of the Vaillant Group in the fields of building efficiency, ecodesign and water, within European and national associations and standardization bodies
As a
recognized point of contact
(m/f/d), you maintain continuous dialogue with associations, ministries, authorities and other relevant stakeholders,
building long‑term and trusting networks
Your responsibilities include the
technical coordination of association and standardization work
as well as leading internal expert groups in close alignment with internal stakeholders
You prepare complex regulatory, political and technical content in a target group appropriate manner and translate it into clear information and
compelling presentations
– acting as a central communication interface both internally and externally
You
monitor relevant energy, climate and industrial policy topics and interdependencies
with an open view beyond your immediate area of responsibility
What makes us successful together
You hold a completed
master’s degree in engineering ,
industrial engineering
or business administration with strong technical understanding
Relevant professional experience, ideally in the building/HVAC sector , enables you to confidently interpret regulatory contexts
You
navigate political decision‑making processes, association structures and standardization bodies
with ease and have sound knowledge of energy policy
Communication & Presentation: You stand out with
excellent presentation and communication skills
and know how to prepare complex topics in a clear, structured and an audience‑appropriate way
Personality: You convince with diplomatic skills, teamwork, strategic thinking and the ability to constructively bring together different interests
You
communicate fluently in German and English , both written and spoken, and feel at home in an international environment
The
position includes travel of approx. 20–30% , particularly to actively participate in national and European committees, associations and stakeholder formats
