
Parts Counter Associate
We’re looking for a motivated and customer‑focused Parts Counter Associate to join our team. In this key role, you’ll be the face of our parts department—working directly with customers in person and over the phone to provide expert assistance, accurate parts fulfillment, and exceptional service. Whether helping walk‑ins or managing phone inquiries, you’ll play an important part in ensuring smooth, efficient operations and building long‑term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist walk‑in and telephone customers with their parts inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
Research and fulfill parts orders, provide estimates, and process requests efficiently.
Place daily parts orders with multiple vendors and track order statuses.
Receive, organize, and ship customer parts orders accurately and on time.
Communicate proactively with customers about order updates, promotions, and special offers.
Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify future needs.
Maintain accurate cash handling and credit authorization procedures.
Maximize sales by upselling and promoting relevant products.
Handle customer concerns tactfully and elevate issues to the Parts Manager as needed.
Keep the parts counter clean, organized, and well‑stocked.
Make outbound follow‑up calls and emails to prospects and returning customers.

Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in sales or customer service.

Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages).
Previous experience as a Parts Counter Associate in construction, heavy equipment, or rental industry.
Familiarity with counter sales or equipment parts systems.
