Role Summary
Regional Account Manager for an assigned geography/territory with responsibility for commercially marketed products and certain assigned key accounts. This role will maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to identify product opportunities and increase contract pull-through. They will lead, develop and implement a business plan and sales strategy. They will oversee account performance to ensure that markets for the generic pharmaceutical products are properly identified and penetrated. This role will analyze business positioning, develop penetration plans, identify sales channels and will subsequently leverage that channel effectively and efficiently to ensure that sales growth objectives are met. Responsibilities
Develop and nurture strong relationships with assigned IDNs, Clinic, Home Infusion and Key Accounts Develop and implement customer specific strategic plans that align to corporate growth and market share targets. Lead Sales initiatives within target accounts to further expand product visibility and increase contract pull-through. Work with internal teams (Pricing, Contracts, legal, Marketing) to develop and implement specific regional business objectives Obtain competitive information Effectively manage “C‑Suite” customer meetings, present sales data and identify new business opportunities Qualifications
7 years or more in Pharmaceutical sales/Institutional sales 4 years or more in Managing key IDNs and Health Systems within assigned geographic area Specialized Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Injectable market space Specialized Knowledge: Knowledge of 340B/DSH Market Education
Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) Marketing, Life Sciences - Required Skills
Exceptional Communications skills (both written and verbal) - Advanced Self‑motivated with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple contacts within a corporate account relationship focused on strategic profitable growth - Advanced Demonstrates a strategic view of the pharmaceutical market and customer base - Intermediate Demonstrates a strong sense of professional and personal integrity and high ethical standards - Advanced
