
We are looking for a proactive and l easing-focusedLeasing Agent / Assistant Property Manager to support daily operations and drive occupancy at our multifamily community in Arlington, TX. This role is primarily responsible forleasing performance, prospect follow-ups, lease renewals, unit listings, pricing accuracy, and resident retention, owning the full leasing lifecycle from inquiry to renewal. The position will also provide limited support to the Property Manager with operational and administrative tasks as needed, but the core focus isleasing execution, conversions, and occupancy results.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage the full leasing cycle from initial inquiry through move-in and post move-in follow-up Respond promptly to all leasing inquiries via phone, email, text, online portals, and walk-ins Conduct professional property tours and present units, amenities, floor plans, and community benefits Actively follow up with prospects, no-shows, and incomplete applications to maximize conversions Pre-qualify prospects and explain rental criteria, pricing, deposits, and lease terms Prepare, process, and execute lease agreements, addendums, renewals, and required disclosures Manage lease renewals by tracking expiration dates, preparing renewal offers, negotiating terms when applicable, and following up to secure retention Proactively work renewal strategies to reduce turnover and vacancy loss · Maintain, post, and update online listings across all advertising platforms (Zillow, Apartments.com, Facebook Marketplace, Google, internal systems) Ensure all listings reflect accurate pricing, availability, concessions, unit features, photos, and descriptions Coordinate unit availability and pricing updates with ownership and management Track leasing traffic, lead sources, conversion rates, and leasing performance metrics Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly leasing and occupancy reports Assist with pricing surveys and market comparisons to stay competitive Schedule and coordinate move-ins, unit readiness, and keys with maintenance and vendors Conduct move-in orientations and ensure a smooth resident onboarding experience Perform move-out coordination and assist with re-leasing strategies for upcoming vacancies Support resident retention through communication, follow-ups, and renewal outreach Serve as a key point of contact for residents throughout the lease lifecycle Assist with resident notices, policy enforcement, and lease compliance Support rent collection efforts, posting payments, and delinquency follow-ups Maintain organized and compliant leasing files in accordance with Fair Housing laws and company policies Assist the Property Manager with daily operational, administrative, and reporting needs
