Job Overview The Assistant Director, Women’s Center and Cultural Centers is a term position for the period of November 2025 through November 2026 in order to provide administrative, logistical, and programmatic guidance and support for the Women’s Center and the Cultural Centers during a period of staff transition.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative, logistical, and programmatic guidance and support for the Women’s Center and the Cultural Centers during a period of staff transition.

Serve as the primary point of contact for the Women’s Center, responding to inquiries and coordinating responses to requests and collaborative proposals.

Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to the Women’s Center student staff members.

Generate ideas for programming, seek input from the Women’s Center student staff team, and provide a structure for planning and implementation.

Provide general support to the Office of Student Equity and Inclusion team, including professional and student staff in the Disability Cultural Center, the LGBTQ Resource Center, and the Center for Multicultural Equity and Access.

Plan and implement weekly social events, oversee student staff at the front desk, coordinate and order supplies, manage suite maintenance requests and follow‑up, and perform other administrative and logistical work.

Work Interactions This position reports to the Associate Vice President, Student Affairs and supervises student employees of the Women’s Center. When the Senior Director, Student Formation is hired, this position will report to the Senior Director. This position also collaborates with the Disability Cultural Center, the LGBTQ Resource Center, and the Center for Multicultural Equity and Access, and interacts with students, student groups, and alumni.

Requirements and Qualifications

Master’s degree in a related field.

3–5 years of related experience as a higher education administrator or working with gender equity programs.

Pay Range The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is: $47,586.00 - $87,558.13. Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.
