Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Professional to join our team. This position plays a key role in helping customers create their ideal outdoor living spaces by providing expert advice on pools, hot tubs, saunas, endless pools, and patio furniture. If you have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a love for outdoor living, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities Customer Engagement
Greet customers promptly and provide a welcoming environment.
Assess customer needs and recommend products that align with their preferences, lifestyle, and budget.
Provide product demonstrations and explain features, benefits, and maintenance requirements.
Sales & Upselling
Drive sales by meeting or exceeding monthly targets.
Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell complementary products, such as pool accessories, chemicals, or patio furniture.
Product Knowledge
Stay up-to-date on product offerings, promotions, and industry trends.
Attend training sessions to enhance expertise on technical aspects of pools, hot tubs, saunas, and endless pools.
Customer Service
Resolve customer inquiries and concerns professionally and efficiently.
Assist with financing options, warranties, and delivery scheduling.
Store Operations
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor.
Restock merchandise as needed and assist in inventory management.
Participate in promotional events and marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in home improvement, outdoor living, or a related industry.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build lasting customer relationships.
Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and goal oriented.
Basic knowledge of pools, hot tubs, or saunas is a plus (training provided).
Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working weekends, holidays, and a flexible schedule as needed.
