Customer Service Representative
We are looking for a dedicated customer service representative to join our team on a contract basis in Shelton, Washington. In this role, you will support various administrative and customer-facing tasks to ensure smooth operations and excellent service delivery. The ideal candidate will excel in managing data, correspondence, and customer interactions with professionalism and efficiency. Responsibilities: Maintain accurate records and tracking systems, both electronically and manually, ensuring compliance with company standards. Organize and schedule meetings or hearings, including preparing agendas, issuing notifications, and arranging conference spaces. Interact with the public to assess documentation, determine service eligibility, and issue permits or authorizations. Process payments, review applications, and distribute necessary forms and informational materials. Conduct research and compile reports based on historical records and data. Draft reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence using collected or researched information. Manage cash transactions, deposits, and documentation related to disbursements, grants, or allocations. Support special projects and participate in cross-functional administrative initiatives. Perform general office duties, such as ordering supplies, assembling documents, and managing inter-department correspondence. Handle public records requests in compliance with applicable guidelines, if assigned as public records officer. Requirements: Prior experience in customer service and administrative roles is highly preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in data entry, electronic file management, and general office software. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Familiarity with tasks such as billing, document scanning, and email correspondence. Reliable attendance and flexibility to accommodate occasional evening meetings.
