Job Posting This position is responsible for performing clerical duties in support of the Municipal Court, and providing assistance and information to other departments, divisions and the public regarding court policies and procedures. Duties include processing criminal case paperwork received through the mail and at the counter, data entry and filing. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and could periodically include weekends and holidays. A high school diploma, or equivalent, and one year of cash-handling experience are required. Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to handle a high volume of customer traffic in person and over the phone. Bilingual (English / Spanish) skills are beneficial. Duties involve access to sensitive Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS), which requires that a thorough background check be conducted.
Must not have any criminal conviction above the grade of a Class B misdemeanor or any Class B misdemeanor within the past 10 years; other convictions may also be considered.
