
Associate System Analyst - Digital Banking

Purpose:
Five Star Bank is seeking an Associate System Analyst to support the delivery, testing, maintenance, and enhancement of the bank's digital banking platforms including mobile and online solutions. This role supports multiple business lines including retail, commercial, operations, and marketing by overseeing vendor managed digital banking systems and their integrations with core platforms such as Jack Henry and other ancillary products. The position is responsible for system support, monitoring integrations, and assisting with the implementation of new digital banking features to ensure reliable performance across the bank's critical customer-facing platforms.
Essential Functions:
Support:
Provide first level support for business users on digital banking system issues, troubleshooting, and escalating complex matters to vendors or internal teams as needed. Testing:
Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for digital banking features and integrations, including validation between Digital Banking, Jack Henry core, and other ancillary systems. Implementation and Configuration Support : Assist with intake and triage of digital banking requests, assess priority and complexity, route work appropriately, and communicate expectations in alignment with established SLAs. Defect Management:
Log, track, and validate defects and issues through resolution. Upgrade and Deployment Support:
Support digital banking releases, platform upgrades, integrations, and configuration changes in partnership with IT, vendors, and operational teams. Governance:
Ensure all platform changes comply with internal governance, security, and data integrity standards. Documentation:
Maintain documentation for digital banking configurations, integrations, testing, and support procedures. Five Star Bank Culture:

High School Diploma Prior Experience:
1+ year of hands-on experience in systems maintenance, operations or quality assurance role, preferably in financial services and/or core banking systems. Competencies:
Familiarity with digital banking platforms (e.g. Q2) is highly preferred. Skilled in providing first-level support and escalating complex issues. Exposure to banking operations, compliance, or digital transformation initiatives. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Efficiency in preparing presentations, summary reports, and visualizations. Ability to work effectively with business analysts, project leads, and other team members. Commitment to delivering realistic expectations and maintaining department SLAs. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, processes, and technologies. Experience working in a regulated industry, preferably financial services or banking. Physical Requirements:
