What You'll Do Data Ownership:

Take charge of cleaning, reorganizing, and harmonizing datasets related to loan origination, servicing, marketing, and customers to derive actionable insights and performance metrics. Model Integration:

Develop integrations for existing pricing, prepayment, and credit-risk models to ensure seamless deployment within the lending platform. Analytics Feedback Loop:

Integrate lending performance and P&L results back into the analytics ecosystem to optimize investor reporting. Data Visualization:

Create and manage self-service dashboards and reports to monitor key lending metrics such as recapture rates, marketing ROI, pricing variance, P&L attribution, and market trends. Performance Insights:

Prepare and present performance reports to senior management; gather feedback from loan officers to enhance analytics and strategies. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work with pricing, portfolio, investor relations, and capital markets teams to align analytics with lending strategies and execute initiatives driven by investors. Data Pipeline Automation:

Streamline data processes, standardize definitions across systems, and implement scalable analytics solutions. Interdepartmental Liaison:

Collaborate with IT, CRM, operations, and third-party vendors to ensure high-quality data and prompt delivery of insights. Ad-hoc Analysis:

Respond swiftly to one-off requests from senior management, investors, and related divisions. Perform additional duties and projects as assigned. What You'll Need Bachelor's or advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance). At least one year of relevant experience in mortgage lending analytics, capital markets, or similar roles; exceptional analysts with strong programming skills are encouraged to apply. Proficiency in Python and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis; familiarity with machine learning techniques is a plus. Experience in adapting and deploying proprietary quantitative models, including writing wrappers or APIs for analytics integration. Strong aptitude for organizing unstructured marketing/customer data, including expertise in data cleaning, ETL, and signal extraction. Experience in building self-service dashboards or reporting tools (e.g., Tableau or similar). Understanding of loan origination and servicing workflows, particularly in strategies for customer recapture. Excellent communication skills to convey complex analytics into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated organizational skills, self-motivation, and ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in fast-paced environments. Solid mathematical and statistical skills. Hands-on experience using Python and statistical packages for processing and analyzing large datasets. Familiarity with popular machine learning techniques and their underlying algorithms. Preferred experience with Linux environments. Motivated team player, quick learner with strong communication abilities. Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
