Farha HomeTrends (FHT) is a family-owned remodeling firm with over 25 years of experience creating thoughtfully designed residential and light commercial spaces. We are known for our craftsmanship, attention to detail, and an elevated client experience. Just as important to us as the spaces we create are the relationships we build—with our clients and within our team.
Our success comes from a collaborative, fast-paced environment where designers, project managers, and trades work closely together to bring each project to life. We value creativity, accountability, and a shared commitment to doing great work.
We are seeking an Interior Designer to join our team—someone who enjoys creating beautiful, functional spaces and seeing projects through from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, is organized, adaptable and confident at managing multiple projects, while maintaining a positive, solution-oriented approach as projects evolve.
What You’ll Do
Develop design concepts and guide projects from initial meetings through final installation.
Create renderings, elevations, and production documents to clearly communicate design intent.
Assist clients with finish and material selections that align with project goals, budget, and schedule.
Coordinate ordering of materials, track lead times, and support timely project execution.
Collaborate with the FHT team, vendors, and subcontractors throughout the design and build process.
Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and maintain a high-quality experience.
Stay organized across multiple projects and follow through on agreed-upon timelines and deliverables.
What We’re Looking For
A genuine passion for interior design and creating elevated, livable spaces.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
The ability to communicate clearly and confidently with clients and project teams.
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with multiple moving parts.
Embraces a growth mindset that incorporates self-awareness and accountability, with a willingness to learn and improve.
Capacity to work independently, using curiosity, sound judgement and solution-oriented thinking to move projects forward.
A high standard for quality, professionalism, and a thoughtful client experience.
Qualifications
Degree in Interior Design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
3+ years of experience in residential or light commercial interior design preferred.
Proficiency in design and documentation tools used to create renderings, elevations, and production drawings.
Experience working with diverse client base to select finishes, materials, fixtures, and furnishings for construction-based projects.
