Under the supervision of the Factory Supervisor, this position supports the Punch Press/Machine Department. The Operator will utilize a variety of machinesincluding lasers, shears, CNC brake presses, and turret pressesto produce metal parts according to Winco's quality standards. The role ensures accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to safety procedures while collaborating with internal departments as needed. Job Interactions and Interface
This role regularly interacts with internal staff in: Quality Assurance Human Resources Essential Duties & Responsibilities Interpret drawings, job routings, and tooling instructions. Set up and operate machines such as punch presses, lasers, shears, and CNC brake presses. Maintain a preventative maintenance program for assigned equipment. Set up jobs/presses with minimal supervision. Apply mathematical skills to blueprints, templates, and precision tools. Train and familiarize with Winco procedures regarding fixture setups on manual presses. Inspect items to print, including dimensional and visual requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve machine or process issues as they arise. Follow strict safety protocols at all times. Other duties as assigned.
