The Head of Market Intelligence leads the Amazon Autos insights function, transforming marketplace data into actionable intelligence for the global automotive industry. They develop a deep understanding of B2B customer needs, shape and prioritize the insights roadmap, and collaborate closely with business analysts, data scientists, and applied scientists to deliver high-impact research-leveraging AI to enhance analysis and scale insights. Committed to research excellence, they uphold rigorous publishing standards while partnering with product leads to uncover unique insights from the Amazon Autos marketplace-distributing them globally through Amazon publications, Advertising specialists, and proprietary B2B data platform.

Champions customer understanding - Develops deep expertise in B2B customer needs to ensure insights deliver measurable value

A day in the life
As Head of Market Intelligence, no two days are the same-but collaboration is always central. The day often begins with scanning dashboards for emerging trends in the Amazon Autos marketplace. From there, the focus shifts to working with data scientists and applied scientists to ensure analytical rigor. Partnership with product managers, marketing, and engineering teams is key-together, you surface unique insights and shape how intelligence flows through the B2B platform. Presenting to leadership helps drive decision-making and prioritize impactful research.

Amazon Autos is a newly formed team with a vision to create innovative automotive sales, discovery, and purchasing experiences on Amazon.com. We, in partnership and collaboration with other experienced teams at Amazon, are redefining the future of how sellers and consumers can shop for cars online.
Basic Qualifications
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience managing technical products or online services
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
Experience performing statistical analysis of data using SQL, Excel and other tools
Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
Master's degree

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
