
Hiring for an order entry specialist for a manufacturing client in Circle Pines, MN!
Description
This person will work with Customers from the start of the project until the end of the project. Will process Customer Orders using ERP and CRM systems. They will be the primary contact for sales reps, distributors and direct customers. They will communicate order status, lead times, backorders and tracking information. Ensure pricing accuracy, discount compliance and order documentation completeness.
Inventory & Production Coordination
• Monitor inventory levels and allocate product to open orders.
• Identify potential shortages and proactively communicate risk to operations and sales.
• Analyze backorders and production parts impacting delivery timelines.
• Support forecasting efforts by reviewing historical order trends and open order data.
Freight & Logistics Management
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments.
• Review freight quotes and select cost-effective options while meeting delivery commitments.
• Prepare international shipping documentation (commercial invoice, packing slip, USMCA).
• Resolve freight issues including delays, damages, and claims.
• Partner with shipping team to schedule pickups and confirm packaging compliance.
Trade Shows & Sample Orders
• Manage time-sensitive sample and trade show shipments.
• Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure proper preparation and timely delivery.
Process & Systems Support
• Utilize ERP and CRM systems to generate reports and monitor open orders.

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $34.00/hr.
