Construction Estimator (Mid-Level)

Our Client
is looking for an experienced
Mid-Level Construction Estimator
to support preconstruction efforts on commercial and multi-family projects throughout Northern California.Our client is a reputable, experienced contractor with a strong internal culture and solid performance within its project focus areas. Responsibilities Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates from schematic through GMP levels
Lead subcontractor outreach, bid leveling, and scope analysis
Review plans, specifications, and project requirements for accuracy and risk
Develop project budgets, value-engineering options, and pricing strategies
Collaborate with project managers, owners, and design teams
Support contract negotiations and preconstruction handoff
Qualifications
Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field required*
3-7 years of estimating experience with a general contractor
Strong knowledge of commercial and/or multi-family construction
Proficiency with estimating software and Excel
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills
