The Role
We are looking for an experienced
Commercial Construction Estimator
with a minimum of
5 years of experience
in estimating ground-up commercial projects. This vital role will involve close collaboration with project management, leadership, and trade partners to craft competitive and precise bids. Your Responsibilities Prepare meticulous cost estimates for
ground-up commercial construction projects . Conduct quantity takeoffs and determine pricing from schematic design through GMP and hard bids. Solicit, analyze, and equitably assess subcontractor bids. Develop budgets, explore value engineering options, and perform cost studies. Review architectural drawings and specifications to identify potential scope gaps and risks. Collaborate seamlessly with project management and operations teams during project handoff. Maintain comprehensive historical cost data and pricing databases. Engage in pre-bid meetings and partake in subcontractor interviews as needed. What You’ll Need 5+ years of demonstrated experience as a
Commercial Construction Estimator . Extensive background in estimating
ground-up commercial projects . Robust understanding of construction processes, methods, and sequencing. Aptitude in reading and interpreting construction documents and specifications. Proficiency with estimating software tools (e.g., Bluebeam, Excel, OST, Procore, or similar). Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
