Job Description
A well-established and growing commercial general contractor is seeking an
Estimator
to join its preconstruction team. This individual will play a key role in developing accurate, competitive estimates and supporting projects from concept through award.
Responsibilities: Prepare conceptual, schematic, and detailed cost estimates
Perform quantity takeoffs and scope reviews
Solicit, analyze, and level subcontractor bids
Collaborate with preconstruction and operations teams
Identify cost-saving opportunities and risk factors
Support bid strategy and proposal development
Qualifications:
3+ years of commercial construction estimating experience
Experience with ground-up and renovation projects
Strong understanding of construction means and methods
Proficiency with estimating software and Excel
Strong communication and organizational skills
