Job Description PRI is seeking a Dispatcher, Motor Vehicle professional to provide services and support to the NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center contract located at Edwards AFB, California. The Dispatcher, Motor Vehicle, and will perform duties primarily associated with SCA Labor Category Dispatcher, Motor Vehicle as well as performing duties associated with Production Control Clerk and Material Coordinator from the SCA Directory of Occupations 5th edition.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Be assigned to one or more work areas to support contract Logistics Services consisting of: Supply and Materials Management Equipment Management Property Disposal Transportation Management (including shipping and fleet management) Mail Management Perform duties found within the Performance Work Statement (PWS) sections 7.1, Motor Vehicles - 7.14, Stock Room / Parts Inventory in accordance with NASA Instructions and Technical Directives Provide a vehicle dispatch operation that includes support for all government vehicles managed or operated by the Contractor to support AFRC in accordance with Fleet Management Handbook. Gather and record monthly, quarterly, and annual utilization data and other data for reporting purposes. Monitor and schedule vehicles for maintenance in accordance with GSA and NASA instructions. Issue, control and maintain accountability of official U.S. Government license plates and on-site license plates for Government-owned vehicles in the Government-provided FMIS in accordance with the NASA Fleet Management Handbook. Utilize a Work Control System (WCS) to plan, track, control, and report work-related accomplishments, schedules, and resources as applicable. Issue, control and maintain fuel/fleet credit cards for Government motor vehicles in accordance with the NASA Fleet Management Handbook, OMB circular A-123 (Appendix B) NASA Fleet Charge Card Management Plan, NPD 1200.1, NASA Internal Control, NPD 5104.1 Government Charge Cards, and GSA requirements. Assist in the operation and maintenance of the onsite fuel station. Maintain and report records of all fuel receiving, dispensing, testing and distribution activities for transportation assets. Help establish and operate the Customer service and office/work reception desk found in PWS 3.13 Utilize a Work Control System (WCS) to plan, track, control, and report work-related accomplishments, schedules, and resources as applicable Assist in tracking and reporting data to supervisors in support of PWS and monthly DRD requirements Be familiar with NASA publications, forms, and regulations listed in the PWS and how all work activities are performed in accordance with those references Utilize NASA provided computer equipment and software/databases to perform required job duties Understand and work towards all timeliness and quality standards found in the Performance Requirements Summary for work area assigned Compile report of quantity and type of work accomplished Compiles and records production data for NASA industrial tasking to compare records and reports on volume of production, consumption of material, quality control, and other aspects of performance Compile and record production data from customer orders, work tickets, product specifications, and individual worker production sheets following prescribed recording procedures and using different word processing techniques Direct materiel management activities involved in developing, operating, implementing, and analyzing manual and automated integrated logistics systems May be tasked, trained, and perform duties as a non-CDL Truck Driver or Material Handling Equipment operator, including operating: government owned and lease vehicles, including cars, SUVs, and up to Medium Trucks, Forklifts, and Specialty Material Handling Equipment Requirements

Experience working in a warehouse or other industrial environment and/or experience with Driving trucks and/or other non-CDL required vehicles Experience in using computers as part of a military or civilian retail / store / warehouse environment Must pass NASA forklift training and certification and pass NASA physical to receive forklift license Ability to obtain and retain a Secret security clearance Must be able to clearly read, write, speak, and comprehend English Ability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally and via email Must have current state driver's licenses to operate materiel handling equipment and up to a medium duty, non-Commercial Driver's License required, truck Clean driving record Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position including being on your feet most of the day and lifting requirements Ability to be trained in the use of warehouse tools and manual material handling equipment
