We are hiring
OSP Construction Field Technicians
to support
underground wireline fiber construction projects .
This position focuses on
field inspection, quality control, and subcontractor coordination
and offers a clear path into
supervisory and management roles .
Key Responsibilities Inspect active and completed
underground fiber construction
sites Verify work meets
contract, quality, safety, and client standards Read and interpret
utility maps, construction prints, and blueprints Locate and mark underground utilities using
electronic locating equipment Coordinate daily activities and follow-ups with
subcontractors and field crews Partner with
field management and safety teams Support resolution of
customer and homeowner issues Document findings through
written reports and verbal updates
Required Qualifications Proven experience with
underground fiber construction Wireline OSP construction experience required
(wireless-only experience not considered) Construction Engineering background or equivalent
hands-on field experience
Preferred Qualifications Telecommunications or utility construction/maintenance experience Experience inspecting
underground utility installation and restoration Prior
QC, inspection, or field coordination
experience
Tools & Technologies Underground fiber infrastructure Utility maps, construction prints, and blueprints Electronic detection and locating equipment
