About the Role

Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include financial management, operations, and board partnership, as well as leadership in strategy, fundraising, and revenue diversification. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in fundraising and financial management, a commitment to the organization's model, and the ability to lead through consensus-based leadership. The Executive Director will also be responsible for fostering a trauma-informed workplace culture, supervising a dedicated team, and overseeing the implementation of various employment programs.

Professional qualifications for the ideal candidate include a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) in a relevant field, experience in securing foundation and government grants, and a background in providing mental health services. The role requires a leader with exceptional communication skills, cultural competency, and the ability to navigate government and public relations. The Executive Director will be the face of the organization, raising public awareness and reducing stigma associated with mental health conditions.
