We are looking for a D365 Finance & Operations Consultant
Automotive Manufacturing | Stamping & Welding Location:
Mississippi (onsite support preferred during UAT; some remote flexibility)
Overview
We are supporting an automotive supplier serving Toyota that is in the middle of a
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
implementation. The organization manufactures stamped and welded components and is entering
User Acceptance Testing (UAT) . They need an experienced D365 F&O consultant to work directly with the business, helping users understand how to operate the system, validate transactions, and establish practical day-to-day processes.
This role is heavily
hands-on and user-facing , focused on training, process definition, and bridging the gap between system design and how the plant actually runs.
Key Responsibilities Support
UAT execution
by working with accounting, supply chain, production, and inventory users to validate real-world scenarios Train end users on how to properly execute transactions in D365 F&O, not just test scripts Translate manufacturing workflows (stamping, welding, WIP, inventory movements) into usable D365 processes Identify process gaps or system misunderstandings and help define clear, repeatable procedures Assist users in understanding root causes when transactions fail or results do not align with expectations Create and document
standard operating procedures (SOPs)
and user guidance tailored to plant operations Act as a liaison between business users and the implementation partner, clarifying requirements and needed adjustments Provide go-live readiness support and stabilization assistance as needed Required Experience
Strong hands-on experience with
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Background supporting
manufacturing environments , ideally automotive or Tier-1/Tier-2 suppliers Solid understanding of: Production and inventory transactions Shop-floor manufacturing processes Costing, WIP, and material movements
Experience supporting or leading
UAT for ERP implementations Ability to train non-technical users and explain system behavior in practical terms Comfortable working onsite in a plant environment during critical project phases Preferred Experience
Automotive stamping, welding, or metal fabrication experience Toyota or OEM supplier environment familiarity Prior involvement in ERP go-lives or post-implementation stabilization Experience creating user documentation and process maps
