Job Description
Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to gather project specifications and requirements. Analyze blueprints, drawings, and specifications to identify project scope and cost factors. Research and source pricing for materials and subcontractor services. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing. Provide regular updates on project budgets and cost forecasts. Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations for prospective clients. Ensure all estimates comply with company and industry standards. The Successful Applicant
A successful Construction Estimator should have:
Experience with Commercial and Multifamily projects ranging from $10 - $20 Million dollars A strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods. Proficiency in estimating software and tools commonly used in the property industry. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Effective communication skills to collaborate with project teams and clients. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred. What's on Offer
