Description
This individual will market and facilitate community events for the City of Holland and Holland Recreation. The intern receives supervision and assignments from the Recreation Program Coordinator; however, the intern is encouraged to develop innovative ideas to promote and grow the Recreation Department.

Examples of Duties
Responsibilities: Plan, organize, and implement marketing campaigns for various events and programs. Provide on-site content at programs and events for social media accounts. Attending community events for on-site marketing activations. Coordinate and run on-site supervision for the Friday Night Summer Concert Series. Recruit sponsorships for the organization through a variety of methods. Maintain a positive working relationship with other employees and the public. Other duties as assigned. Typical Qualifications
Job Qualifications:
Students pursuing a bachelor's degree or master's degree from an accredited college/university required, Recreation, sport management, or related field preferred. Some marketing and graphic design experience preferred. One year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Supplemental Information
Working Conditions:
Working outside with periodic exposure to extreme hot or cold weather conditions. Exposure to dust, dirt, rain, noise, and chemicals.
