Position Overview
The Salesforce Tester (mid) provides critical manual testing support for Salesforce production teams responsible for ongoing maintenance and new feature development across multiple Salesforce applications. This role participates in daily stand-ups and other Agile ceremonies in a virtual environment, ensuring alignment with team priorities and development progress. The tester will create detailed test cases for each user story and collaborate closely with Scrum Team members to verify that all delivered functionality meets defined requirements and quality standards. Success in this role requires developing a deep understanding of the end-to-end functionality of the organization's Salesforce applications.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and report defects, bugs, and errors throughout the development lifecycle, supporting application development by identifying issues and ensuring they are clearly communicated to the development team. Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles by creating test criteria and test cases for each user story during the development phase, ensuring all functionality is validated against requirements. Participate in daily Agile stand-ups and sprint ceremonies to stay aligned with Scrum Team activities, priorities, and progress. Execute testing within each sprint to verify that user stories, tasks, and bug fixes meet acceptance criteria and can be successfully closed. U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the United States and able to demonstrate physical residency in the U.S. for at least three (3) of the past five (5) years. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, plus five (5) or more years of relevant work experience, including a minimum of five (5) years in software testing. Understanding and knowledge of Salesforce required. A minimum of three (3) years of Salesforce Testing is required. Ability to apply standard requirements to a different design. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work closely with Government customers.
