Monday–Friday Pay rate:
$33-$35/hr $2000 Missing equipment fee
Responsibilities: Design Documentation & Execution Develop complete store design drawing packages based on approved concepts and brand standards, including floor plans, fixture plans, interior elevations, storefront elevations, and finish/material applications. Adapt standard designs to site-specific conditions, landlord requirements, and jurisdictional constraints. Produce accurate, detailed drawings suitable for construction document development. Project Review & Coordination Review and interpret kickoff documentation such as tenant design criteria, site surveys, as-builts, landlord work letters, and code requirements. Coordinate with internal teams including A/E Coordination, Construction, Signage, R&D, and Design Partners to resolve constraints. Participate in plan reviews and working sessions as required. Quality, Accuracy & Timeliness Ensure deliverables meet expectations for accuracy, completeness, and schedule adherence. Incorporate redlines and feedback efficiently and accurately. Support document updates through design development and construction phases. Vendor & Consultant Support Review vendor documents and shop drawings for compliance with approved design intent. Provide design clarification to vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders. Presentations & Communication Assist with design decks, visuals, and sample boards for internal, landlord, or brand reviews. Communicate clearly with cross-functional teams and proactively escalate risks or issues.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in retail store design and documentation. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Bluebeam; working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). Solid understanding of retail construction practices, millwork, lighting, basic MEP coordination, ADA requirements, building codes, and full construction document sets. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have: Proficiency in Revit, 3D modeling, and visualization. Experience supporting large, multi-brand retail rollouts. Familiarity with standardized CAD/Revit libraries, block/object management, and drawing protocols.
