Senior Estimator (Heavy Civil Construction)

$120,000 – $140,000 per annum base
About the Company This position is working for a well established and growing heavy civil contractor based in the Raleigh area, specializing in site development, mass grading, underground utilities, and water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Position Overview The Senior Estimator will play a key role in the preconstruction team, responsible for leading estimates on large scale civil projects from initial takeoff through final bid submission. This position works closely with operations, project management, and leadership to ensure accurate pricing, competitive bids, and smooth project handoff.
Projects typically range in value from $1M to $50M, across both public and private sector work.
Qualifications 4+ years of estimating experience within heavy civil construction Strong background in grading, underground utilities, and water or wastewater projects Proficiency with estimating softwares Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously Experience working with DOT, municipal, or public sector projects is a plus
Compensation and Benefits Base salary: $120,000 to $140,000 depending on experience Annual performance based bonus $800 per month vehicle allowance plus fuel card Company provided cell phone 100% employer paid healthcare coverage 401k retirement plan PTO + Holidays Option to work 1 day a week from home
