The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating heavy civil construction projects with expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, and project analysis. This individual will play a key role in helping our company secure profitable projects and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for heavy civil construction projects. Analyze project plans and specifications to determine project requirements. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary data for estimates. Review and analyze historical data to develop cost models and benchmarks for future projects. Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options. Present estimates to management and participate in bid reviews and presentations. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Proven experience as an estimator in heavy civil construction projects. Proficient in estimating software and MS Office applications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
