
Inside Sales Representative (Franklin Park)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
Proactively develop and manage a strong sales pipeline through outbound calling, prospecting, and follow-up with existing and new customers
Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products, solutions, and application guidance
Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales & performance targets
Serve as a first point of contact for customer inquiries - via phone, email, and other channels - providing accurate information and timely support
Assist Customer Support during peak periods by resolving product/service issues, processing orders, and ensuring resolution through thorough follow‑up
Maintain detailed and accurate records of interactions, opportunities, and orders in the CRM
Collaborate with cross‑functional partners including Sales, Accounting, Shipping, and Marketing
Stay current on product lines, industry trends, and competitive landscape
Participate in occasional tradeshows or industry events to support sales and brand presence
Perform general office and sales‑support tasks as needed
POSITION REQUIRMENTS: 2+ years of inside sales, outbound sales, or business development experience & High School Diploma required Comfortable making proactive outbound calls and driving new business conversations. Familiarity with negotiation, sales processes, pipeline management, and basic sales performance metrics. Able to multitask & manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced, seasonally high‑volume environment. Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel. Strong communication, customer service, and problem‑solving skills. Self‑starter with initiative, confidence, and goal orientation. Ability to work onsite, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm Up to 10% travel for tradeshows or customer events.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/ PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: In office with moderate noise levels & prolonged computer use. Occasional presence in non-climate-controlled, high-noise production & warehouse areas where appropriate PPE must be worn Compensation: $21.00 - $29.00 per hour
