Paralegal
to support attorneys in the areas of real estate, estate planning, and probate administration. This is a direct hire, in-office position. Hours are 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday.
Responsibilities: Assist with real estate transactions, corporate and business transactions, estate planning and probate administration, and litigation Support real estate transactions from contract through closing Manage and oversee real estate closings by reviewing title abstracts, preparing title insurance policies and closing packages, ensuring proper fund disbursement, and handling post-closing tasks Manage files, calendars, and deadlines Draft and edit letters and legal documents
Qualifications: 2+ years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal with exposure to real estate transactions is required Real estate experience (closings and title policies) Knowledge of the litigation process, including discovery requests and certificates of service preferred Proficiency with SoftPro, Microsoft Office, Sage Timeslips, and QuickBooks
