The Practice
The Real Estate group handles a broad range of commercial real estate matters, including: Acquisitions and dispositions Leasing (landlord and tenant side) Real estate finance Development transactions Title and survey diligence Full lifecycle deal execution from contract to closing
Associates work closely with senior attorneys and shareholders who devote substantial time to mentorship - not only on transactional execution, but also on the business and relationship-building skills necessary to develop into a long-term real estate practitioner.
The platform is nationally recognized for its depth, cross-office integration, and institutional client base.
Responsibilities
Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, and financing documents Conduct and manage due diligence, including title and survey review Assist in all aspects of transactions from contract through closing Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams Manage day-to-day transaction components while supporting complex matters
Qualifications
3-6 years of commercial real estate transactional experience Experience ideally gained at a regional or national law firm Admitted and in good standing with the Florida Bar (or eligible for admission) Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment Excellent academic credentials and communication skills Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable taking on significant responsibility
