Sales Representative
As a Sales Representative you will be using modern day tools and tactics, continuously develop your territory/accounts focusing on new accounts and new business for all services and products.
Position Highlights • Title: Sales Representative • Direct Hire • Family-owned business that maximizes the reliability of rotating equipment through a mix of repair, product sales, field service, predictive and equipment management services • Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Background Requirements • Industrial equipment sales experience • Mechanical aptitude or comfort with technical/industrial products is strongly preferred • Good communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) to build & maintain relationships with customers • Comfortable working both in an office environment and in the field • Preferred experience with industrial motors, gearbox, pump, compressor, and industrial fans • Experience with CRM systems
Job Responsibilities • Through on-site visibility, develop specified & targeted accounts into regular base accounts • Establish relationships with customer purchasing, maintenance, management, reliability and engineering personnel • Take accountability for communications between personnel and account personnel during and throughout the quotation and estimating process. • Manage communications to ensure that proper follow-ups are happening and that we are meeting customer expectations • Respond as requested to inspect/examine troublesome and/or failed motors or pumps, possible replacement motors, or potential spare opportunities at the customer site • Obtain pertinent information regarding any motor or pump related failures that may allow for the introduction of other service offerings • Work closely with management on all pricing levels and lead time communication • Demonstrate a thorough familiarity with all customer associated projects both current and future that may involve any opportunities for any services or products
