We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Import Specialist
to join our dynamic logistics team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paces environment and is passionate about international freight operations.
Job Type: Full-Time Location: Jamaica, NY 11434 Company Type: NVOCC/International Freight Forwarder/Customs House Broker
Key Responsibilities Manage all aspects of import (ocean & air) shipment arrangements for a designated portfolio of accounts Provide customer service and coordinate shipment authorizations, track cargo, issue arrival notices, verify buying/selling rate, billing and ensure timely delivery follow up
Qualifications Minimum
2–3 years of relevant experience
in international freight forwarding Highly organized, self-motivated team player with the ability to multitask effectively Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently with accuracy and efficiency Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel Great written and verbal communication skills, with professional phone etiquette
