Special Events Sales Manager
to drive revenue across a diverse portfolio of venues and event spaces in Anaheim, Ca. (Fully onsite)
This role is ideal for a sales-driven events professional who thrives on prospecting, closing deals, and bringing high-impact events to life—while collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and an exceptional client experience.
What You’ll Do Drive revenue by
selling and booking private and public special events
across assigned venues Own the full sales cycle: outbound prospecting, client presentations, negotiations, and contract execution Build and manage a
targeted sales pipeline , forecasting revenue and tracking performance Develop strategies to expand event programming across corporate, social, and public-facing events Respond promptly to inbound inquiries and maintain detailed client and sales records Conduct venue tours for clients, planners, producers, and location scouts Coordinate with internal teams to validate availability, pricing, feasibility, and event logistics Draft, negotiate, and finalize event contracts while maintaining organized databases Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions Support sales collateral, marketing initiatives, and event-focused campaigns Monitor industry trends and identify new business opportunities
What You Bring Strong consultative sales and relationship-building skills Confidence negotiating contracts and closing complex deals Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and presentation High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines Collaborative mindset with comfort working cross-functionally Proficiency with Microsoft Office and event sales/catering/calendar systems
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required 5+ years of experience
in special events sales, hospitality sales, or entertainment-related business development Proven success driving event revenue and managing profitable client relationships Solid understanding of special event operations, guest experience standards, and market dynamics
