Full-Time CONTEXT:

Our client, a water transfer services company, is seeking a Sales Representative to serve as the primary link between their advanced water engineering solutions and the clients who depend on them. The position is responsible for identifying new business opportunities within the public and private sectors—including municipal water authorities and industrial energy partners—to provide end-to-end water transfer, desalination, and treatment infrastructure. This is a consultative sales role requiring a deep understanding of complex project financing, regulatory compliance, and fluid dynamics.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Proactively identify and qualify leads within municipal governments, industrial plants, and energy sectors for large-scale water projects. Bring opportunities to a successful conclusion by coordinating the requirements, developing a proposal, and negotiating contracts as necessary. Work collectively with various departments on the execution of proposals, contract negotiations, customer sales orders, customer service including but not limited to invoice discrepancies. Create and deliver compelling, customer-centric presentations and demonstrations by connecting features to customer business capabilities and drivers. Facilitate Public-Private Partnerships (P3) by navigating complex contract negotiations and long-term water purchase agreements. Research the industry and competition to ensure the company is capitalizing on all potential market opportunities. Conduct site assessments and collaborate with engineering teams to recommend best-fit technologies for water recycling, desalination, and transfer. Act as the client’s advocate during the transition from sold to operational, ensuring project milestones align with client expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in industrial sales, ideally within water treatment, oilfield fluid management, or heavy infrastructure is preferred. Ability to interpret engineering specs and discuss flow rates, pressure requirements, and chemical treatment processes with authority. Ability to close deals, work independently and under pressure to meet targets and deadlines. Solid understanding of water transfer operations and related equipment. Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Problem solver with the ability to multi-task while using analytical and decision-making skills. Excellent detail-oriented customer service skills.
