The Opportunity We're looking for a
Senior Account Manager

This is a role for elite sales professionals with a track record of building customer relationships, closing complex, high-value project and equipment finance deals and a hunger to take their career to the next level.
You'll proactively develop relationships and manage a portfolio of sophisticated middle-market clients, close transactions ranging from
$500,000 to $250 million+ , and engage C-suite executives who need creative capital solutions traditional lenders can't deliver. You'll also mentor junior Account Managers, shape sales strategy, and position yourself for advancement to Vice President and beyond. This is about both building a pipeline and about leveraging your expertise, relationships, and industry knowledge to dominate your territory and drive breakthrough results. What You'll Do Strategic Business Development Own and grow a high-value territory with established and new accounts. Source and close large-scale equipment finance and project funding transactions. Engage CFOs, CEOs, Presidents, and VPs of Finance at mid-sized to large enterprises. Leverage industry relationships and referral networks to generate consistent deal flow. Identify market opportunities and develop go-to-market strategies for your territory.
Complex Deal Execution Structure, price, and negotiate sophisticated financing packages for major corporate accounts. Conduct financial and risk analysis on complex, multi-million-dollar transactions. Navigate intricate deal structures including sale-leasebacks, project finance, and syndicated deals. Partner with internal teams (credit, legal, syndication, asset portfolio and documentation) to deliver seamless execution. Manage deals from proposal through funding with precision and speed.
Leadership & Mentorship Mentor and coach junior Account Managers on deal strategy, prospecting, and closing techniques. Share best practices and contribute to team performance and culture. Collaborate with senior leadership on pipeline forecasting, market insights, and strategic initiatives. Represent First National at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
Territory & Relationship Management Maintain deep relationships with key accounts and generate repeat business. Leveraging FNC’s Technology to track pipeline, forecast accurately, and manage territory data. Build strategic partnerships with equipment vendors, brokers, and referral sources.
What You'll Bring 5+ years of high-achieving B2B sales experience , preferably in equipment finance, commercial lending, leasing, or related capital markets. Proven track record
of consistently exceeding sales targets and closing large, complex transactions. Deep understanding
of equipment finance structures, credit analysis, pricing, and deal execution. Executive presence
and ability to engage confidently with C-level decision-makers. Strategic thinking
combined with disciplined execution and attention to detail. Strong financial acumen —comfortable analyzing financial statements, cash flows, and risk profiles. Relationship-building expertise
with a network of industry contacts and referral sources. Leadership mindset
with a desire to mentor and develop others. Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and financial calculators (HP, T-Value). Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred. Equipment finance, banking, leasing, or private equity experience is
highly preferred .
