
Account Executive (Honolulu)

We are seeking a motivated Account Executive to drive growth for our portfolio of high-efficiency pumps, booster pack systems, and commercial hot water solutions. This role emphasizes relationship-building, market development, and solution-based selling to deliver energy-efficient water system solutions across commercial, industrial, and institutional markets.
Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities: • Sales & Business Development o Drive sales growth by identifying and developing new opportunities in all commercial buildings and sectors including HOAs, hospitality, healthcare, and institutional settings. o Build and maintain strong relationships with mechanical contractors, consulting engineers, facility managers, and distributors. o Prepare and present customized proposals and technical solutions that align with customer needs and project specifications. • Customer Engagement o Conduct site visits and product presentations to support sales and ensure customer satisfaction. o Provide pre- and post-sales support, coordinating technical assistance when needed. o Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them achieve performance, sustainability, and cost-saving goals. • Market Intelligence o Monitor industry trends, competitive offerings, and regulatory developments related to water heating and pumping systems. o Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and technical seminars. o Develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed financial targets. • Key Account Relationship Management o Maintain and strengthen relationships with key customers. Review weekly sales history report to determine which customers to increase communications, or build relationships. Review Customer Ranking report to determine highest performing customers and build a sales strategy. Update open opportunities. o Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and support. • Technical Support Facilitation o Coordinate technical support for customers, ensuring they receive accurate and timely assistance. o Stay informed about industry trends, product updates, and best practices to provide informed guidance. Schedule: • Monday to Friday, 7:00AM – 4:00PM
Work Location: In person, Honolulu, Oahu (80% office, 20% field), travel to neighbor islands 20%
Qualifications and Skills: • 3+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably in pumps, water heating systems, or HVAC. • General understanding of pumps and hot water systems (technical training provided). • Familiarity with LEED, ASHRAE, and other energy efficiency standards. • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. • Proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite. • Willingness to travel within all islands in Hawaii. • Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and efficiently prioritize multiple tasks. • Have a valid driver license. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related technical field (or equivalent experience). • At least three+ years sales or related experience required.
