
Key Account Manager - Japanese OEMs (Automotive)

Are you an experienced automotive Key Account Manager with deep Japanese OEM relationships?
A global Tier 1 automotive materials specialist is looking for a commercially driven leader to take full ownership of key Japanese OEM accounts across North America. This is a senior, high-visibility position with genuine autonomy and strategic influence.
You will act as the primary commercial lead for JOEM customers, managing long-term partnerships and driving profitable growth across multiple programs.
What You Will Be Responsible For: Full commercial ownership of strategic Japanese OEM accounts Leading day-to-day communication with Japanese stakeholders in both English and Japanese Developing and executing account growth strategies aligned with global customer plans Leading pricing negotiations, forecasting, program launches and long-term planning Managing programs from specification through SOP and series production Coordinating with technical, quality and operations teams to ensure flawless delivery Acting as the key interface between North American operations and global JOEM organizations
What We Are Looking For: Proven experience managing Japanese OEM customers within the automotive sector Direct experience working with JOEMs such as Toyota, Honda, Nissan or similar Fluent business-level Japanese, used within a professional automotive environment Working knowledge of APQP, PPAP and automotive quality systems Strong commercial acumen with a track record of revenue growth and account development
