5 days/week onsite Salary Range:
$120,000–$130,000 base
Role Overview We are seeking an experienced
KAM
to support a large, strategic refinery customer in Texas City, TX. This is a highly visible, onsite role focused on delivering technical excellence, measurable value, and long-term performance improvements across critical water treatment systems. The ideal candidate will bring strong refinery experience, deep technical expertise in cooling water systems, and the ambition to grow into a broader leadership role within the account team.
Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day technical support for refinery water treatment operations, with a primary focus on
cooling water systems and heat exchange performance Monitor and optimize heat transfer efficiency, fouling control, corrosion, and overall system reliability Deliver quantifiable value through performance improvements, cost savings, and operational efficiencies Partner closely with refinery stakeholders to ensure safe, compliant, and optimized system performance Support and expand
wastewater treatment capabilities , addressing current technical gaps Identify and support future growth opportunities within the account, including additional water treatment applications Contribute to long-term account strategy with the opportunity to progress into
account or team leadership
within approximately two years
Required Qualifications Refinery experience (non-negotiable):
Direct, hands-on experience supporting refinery clients Strong technical background in
industrial water treatment , specifically cooling water systems and heat exchange monitoring Wastewater treatment exposure:
Hands-on experience preferred Education / Experience:
Engineering degree
or
10+ years of relevant industrial water treatment experience Experience level:
Ideally 5–10 years; candidates with 15–20 years of highly relevant experience will be considered Demonstrated ability to deliver
measurable ROI, performance improvements, and technical value
beyond routine site support Leadership mindset with the interest and capability to grow into a broader role within the account team
