Customer Analytics Specialist II

Overview The Customer Analytics Specialist II plays a vital role in supporting internal business partners with data-driven analytics. In this position, you will contribute to the ongoing improvement of the organization by enhancing the speed at which we convert data into informed decisions, actions, and measurable outcomes. Essential Functions Analytics & Reporting (50%) Regularly update and share reports, dashboards, and presentations with executive leadership. Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives for new reports or enhancements to existing ones. Analyze data, identify anomalies, and deliver actionable insights that drive results. Predict and measure the impacts of organizational initiatives on KPIs. Respond to ad hoc data and analysis requests to support business partners. Perform analyses with a high degree of accuracy using accessible tools. Train business users on creating basic reports and dashboards for self-service analytics. Development & Administration (25%) Enhance the efficiency and usability of BI capabilities for business users. Communicate with users about planned and unplanned service outages. Support the migration of existing analytical capabilities to future enterprise solutions. Engage in projects aimed at improving business intelligence capabilities, master data management, and data governance. Data Quality (25%) Regularly validate the integrity of data sources and collaborate with teams to resolve issues. Create processes and algorithms to cleanse, standardize, and combine disparate data sources. Work with internal and external teams to integrate new data sources or enhance the reliability and availability of existing datasets. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Physical Requirements Bachelor's Degree in business, computer science, or a related field is required. 2-5 years of experience in a combined business and technical role focused on development and generating business results. Experience in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics, showcasing strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Intermediate proficiency with databases, ETL, and BI tools such as Microsoft Azure, PowerBI, Databricks, and Python. Competence with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Visio. Familiarity with standard data formats such as CSV, JSON, and XML. Understanding of Agile methodology is a plus. Adept at navigating change, ambiguity, and incomplete information. Skilled at working with large, complex, and diverse data sources. Strong business insight, particularly in retail, to guide analysis and insights. Capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of providing and receiving direction in a team setting. Able to convey information effectively and respond to inquiries from peers, managers, and business partners.
