
The Millennium Hilton New York One UN Plaza is looking for a Guest Relations Associate to join our vibrant team!
Our 439-room Midtown high-rise is the closest hotel to the United Nations and just half a mile from Grand Central Station. We’re conveniently located within one mile of popular attractions like Bryant Park, The Morgan Library, and Rockefeller Center, offering guests unobstructed views of Manhattan and the East River skylines. Our historic Ambassador Grill and iconic lobby are both recognized as official New York City Interior Landmarks.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a guest service role within a similar-sized property, along with OnQ experience. You must have full availability, including overnights, weekends, and holidays.

As a Guest Relations Associate, you will be responsible for welcoming and registering guests and facilitating the check-out process. Greet guests and complete the registration process, including inputting and retrieving information from the computer, confirming guest details and room rate, selecting rooms, coding electronic keys, promoting marketing programs, and providing a welcome packet. Assist guests with check-out, ensuring rooms and services are accurately accounted for, processing payments, and handling various forms of payment. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of hotel information, including room categories, rates, packages, promotions, and local attractions to answer guest inquiries effectively. Utilize up-selling techniques to enhance hotel service uptake and maximize room occupancy. Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly, resolving issues in a friendly and efficient manner. Field guest complaints, conduct research, and negotiate satisfactory solutions to ensure guest satisfaction. Receive, input, retrieve, and relay messages to guests as required.
