Our client is in search of an experienced Estimator with a strong background in Heavy Civil Construction. The ideal candidate will be skilled in quantity take-offs and project estimating, quickly adapting to become a self-sufficient resource in their role. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough quantity take-offs from construction plans. Develop precise and all-encompassing project estimates. Mentor and supervise junior estimators and support team members. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure clarity in project scopes and budgets. Assess and analyze bids from subcontractors and suppliers. Stay current with industry standards and best practices. Qualifications: Proven experience in Heavy Civil Construction estimating. Strong expertise in estimating projects related to heavy highway, bridge construction, utility work, or marine projects. Able to work independently and become self-sufficient swiftly.
