Structural Steel Estimator

who is experienced and passionate about contributing to significant commercial and industrial steel projects. If you excel in accuracy, efficiency, and problem-solving, this opportunity could be a great fit for you! In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing bid documents, executing precise takeoffs, creating competitive proposals, and collaborating closely with project managers, detailers, and fabrication partners to ensure pricing accuracy and project success. Key Responsibilities Review architectural and structural plans, specifications, and bid packages Execute material takeoffs accurately and apply appropriate labor, material, and equipment costs Prepare bids, budgets, and pricing for change orders Coordinate effectively with engineering, detailing, and fabrication teams Request and assess vendor and subcontractor pricing Maintain organized estimating files and historical pricing data Provide support to project teams during job turnover Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating

structural steel

or

miscellaneous metals Proficient in estimating and takeoff software such as Bluebeam, FabTrol, or Tekla EPM Strong knowledge of steel fabrication and erection processes Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings Exceptional math, analytical, and accuracy skills Strong communication and time-management skills Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with

AISC standards
