Join Our Dynamic Team as an Estimator for Structural Steel Projects! We are a leading steel erector and fabricator, seeking a motivated Estimator to support our growing portfolio of commercial and industrial steel projects. If you are detail-oriented, efficient, and enjoy tackling challenges, this is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact. As a Structural Steel Estimator, you will be instrumental in reviewing bid documents, performing precise takeoffs, preparing competitive proposals, and working closely with project managers, detailers, and fabrication partners to ensure accurate pricing and project success. Your Key Responsibilities Will Include: Thoroughly examining plans, specifications, and bid packages. Executing accurate material takeoffs and diligently applying labor, material, and equipment costs. Preparing comprehensive bids, budgets, and change order pricing. Coordinating effectively with engineering, detailing, and fabrication teams. Requesting and evaluating vendor and subcontractor pricing with attention to detail. Maintaining organized estimating files and historical pricing records. Assisting project teams during job turnover to ensure seamless transitions. Qualifications We Are Looking For: A minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating structural steel or miscellaneous metals. Proficiency in using estimating and takeoff software such as Bluebeam, FabTrol, or Tekla EPM. A strong understanding of steel fabrication and erection processes. Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings effectively. Excellent mathematical, accuracy, and analytical skills. Strong communication and time-management abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with AISC standards and steel production rates. Previous experience with a steel fabricator or erector. Compensation & Benefits: $85,000 - $100,000 based on experience Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance included. Generous Paid Time Off and Holidays. Long-term growth opportunities available.
