Key Responsibilities (What You’ll Do)

Translate client RFPs into strategic, insight-driven marketing proposals that drive revenue and margin growth

Conceptualize and develop cross-platform programs including custom content, native integrations, experiential activations, and direct digital marketing campaigns

Partner closely with sales, campaign strategy, and content studio teams to build compelling, proactive ideas that preempt the RFP process

Leverage data, research, and audience insights to craft persuasive narratives and informed recommendations

Ensure all proposals and executions reflect the highest standards of Hearst brand quality, creativity, and storytelling

Manage day-to-day requests from sales and internal stakeholders with clarity, responsiveness, and strategic thinking

Oversee project budgets and timelines to ensure efficient, high-quality delivery

Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)

Experience developing marketing proposals from both a strategic and executional perspective

Strong copywriting skills, with the ability to craft persuasive, client-ready materials

Ability to interpret RFPs, media grids, and client briefs with accuracy and insight

Analytical and strategic thinker who uses data to inform decisions and storytelling

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting ideas to senior stakeholders

Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Resourceful problem-solver who takes initiative and approaches challenges with a positive, solutions-oriented mindset

Collaborative team player who thrives in cross-functional environments

Interest in Hearst editorial brands and the Style & Design industries is a plus

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Keynote, and Google Suite

This is a New York City-based role with a hybrid schedule of 4 days per week in the office

The base salary for this role is between $76,000 - $87,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
