A growing community bank in Walworth County is seeking a Senior Commercial Banker to join its expanding team. This is a key leadership-level lending role focused on building strong local relationships, maintaining a high-quality loan portfolio, and driving new business growth in the market. This position offers an existing portfolio to manage, with the expectation to retain, deepen, and grow those relationships while actively developing new commercial business throughout the community. Position Summary
The Senior Commercial Banker is responsible for originating, and managing commercial loans while serving as a trusted financial partner to business clients. The ideal candidate brings strong credit underwriting knowledge, a proven track record in business development, and at least eight years of commercial banking experience. This is an in-office role designed to support collaboration, team leadership, and strong community presence. Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow an existing commercial loan portfolio Develop new commercial banking relationships through proactive business development efforts Present credit packages and recommendations to loan committee Maintain strong asset quality and ongoing portfolio monitoring Cross-sell treasury management and deposit products Represent the bank in the community through networking and local involvement Mentor junior lenders or credit staff as needed Qualifications
8+ years of commercial banking experience Strong credit underwriting and financial analysis skills Proven success in business development and relationship management Experience managing and growing a commercial loan portfolio Knowledge of commercial real estate (CRE) and C&I lending Strong communication and presentation skills Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred Ideal Candidate Profile
