In this dynamic role, you'll represent Genius®, our cutting-edge, cloud-based Point of Sale (POS) system, helping merchants optimize their checkout processes and enhance their operations. Job Summary As a Software Sales Consultant, you will play a vital role in prospecting and closing sales of Genius® and related Global Payments technologies for small to mid-sized merchants in the restaurant, retail, and service sectors. You will manage the entire sales process—from generating leads and conducting dynamic product demonstrations to finalizing contracts—in a fast-paced, energetic environment. Working closely with your District Manager, you'll gain invaluable coaching and mentorship from leadership to ensure your success. Your mission: to assist business owners in modernizing operations, enhancing customer experiences, and driving growth through innovative POS and payment technology. Key Responsibilities Sell Genius® POS and Global Payments solutions to small and mid-sized merchants. Generate new client opportunities through networking, referrals, and partnerships. Deliver engaging product demos showcasing how Genius® simplifies payment processing, inventory management, and customer interaction. Collaborate with your District Manager to set appointments, identify sales opportunities, and close deals quickly. Maintain accurate client records and pipeline activity using Atlas and Salesforce CRM systems. Upsell and cross-sell additional Global Payments services to existing clients. Stay informed on POS and fintech industry trends to position yourself as a valuable advisor. Participate in weekly team meetings and personalized coaching sessions with leadership. Desired Skills & Capabilities Outstanding communication, presentation, and networking abilities. Self-motivated with a results-driven, hunter mentality. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a quick-paced sales cycle. Professional demeanor and integrity with clients and colleagues. Enjoy building relationships with business owners face-to-face. Experience in restaurant and/or retail sectors is advantageous. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years or older. Possess a valid driver's license and the ability to travel locally up to 75% of the time. Must reside within the area of the job posting. Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or GED; a college degree is preferred. Two or more years of experience in B2B, SaaS, or POS sales. Compensation Base Salary: $40,000 Residual Income: Continual earnings from your closed accounts. Bonuses: Monthly and quarterly incentives for exceeding sales goals. On-Target Earnings (OTE): $100,000+ Your earnings increase with your results—the more you sell, the more you earn.
