$31.00 to $34.00/hr. W2 Key Responsibilities: Issue press releases via news distribution platforms, email services, and science news outlets. Establish and manage communication content production workflows to ensure timely delivery and high-quality standards. Track and analyze media coverage reports with existing tools, supplying insights for internal awareness and promotion. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and campaign-specific reports detailing communication activities using qualitative and quantitative metrics. Support external communications initiatives, including social media campaigns, journalist outreach, event communications, and media correspondences. Qualifications: 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in communications, public relations, media management, or project coordination. Strong project management skills with meticulous attention to detail. Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities. Proven capacity to juggle multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment. Familiarity with email distribution tools and basic HTML is beneficial. Prior experience with media monitoring and reporting tools is a plus. Knowledge in scientific or nonprofit communications is preferred. Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic setting is advantageous. Familiarity with scientific journal publishing is a plus.
